Demand for Workhuman’s Employee Recognition Software Continues; Expands Dublin Headquarters and Announces New Board Member

Workhuman®, a business that is redefining how workers acknowledge, connect with, and value one another at work, has disclosed its 2021 revenue and billings, the election of a new board member, and the investment of €2.8 million to upgrade its current headquarters in Ireland. The increase is the result of a widespread effort by multinational corporations to foster a culture of appreciation, which helped gross revenues in 2021 increase by 28% to more than $876 million from $682 million in 2020.

Workhuman reported more than $1.1 billion in billings and $287 million in net platform income in 2021. Additionally, the business processed more than 12 million billable awards (moments of recognition with a monetary value connected with them) in 2021, a nearly 50% increase from the previous year. The business has approximately seven million users on its platform.

Additionally, Workhuman said that it has added Vidya Peters, a former Chief Operating Officer of the cutting-edge card-issuing platform Marqeta, to its board of directors. She had numerous strategy and marketing positions at Intuit and Bain & Company before serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at MuleSoft, which Salesforce later bought. Peters will replace Lorrie Norrington on the Workhuman board immediately and has a plethora of operations and go-to-market expertise. The woman is a B.S. a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, an MPA in Public Administration from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In 2022, American Banker listed Peters as one of the Most Influential Women in the Payments Sector.
