ServiceNow Secures Department of Health and Human Services Enterprise-Wide Contract

ServiceNow announced today that it has received a single award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), a division of the U.S. General Services Administration, known as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) (GSA). The contract, which has a five-year performance period through 2027, is in partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, and is estimated to be worth $250 million.

In accordance with the contract, Carahsoft will offer ServiceNow Technology Workflows, Customer Workflows, Employee Workflows, and Creator Workflows to HHS in order to enable critical functionality for many HHS applications, aid HHS in inventory optimization, and lessen waste.

“As the Department of Health and Human Services works to accelerate its digital transformation, providing a quality user experience and helping to optimize inventory has never been more vital, we are happy to foster a relationship with the HHS and are committed to providing the agency with the tools necessary to meet their goals.”

– Jonathan Alboum, ServiceNow’s Federal Chief Technology Officer

HHS can speed up the procurement process and streamline orders with the help of ServiceNow’s scalable solutions. For application owners within the Department of Health and Human Services, the ServiceNow license acquisition process (and predictable pricing) can be streamlined with the help of the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

It is crucial for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to increase productivity. With the aid of ServiceNow, staff members will have the tools needed to streamline routine tasks, such as inventory management and waste reduction, as they work to serve the needs of the American people, according to Jennifer Pizzillo, an IT vendor management specialist at the department.

ServiceNow is working to further modernize digital operations within HHS in order to better serve our country after the pandemic significantly changed how citizens interact with government services. HHS can improve the citizen, employee, and partner experiences, enable a secure and compliant architecture, achieve operational resilience for grants solutions, HR service delivery, low-code/no-code application development, service management and case management needs, audit, cloud and asset management, ZTA, and support numerous other mission- and underpinning IT requirements and needs with ServiceNow.
