Video management software (VMS) provider Milestone Systems has named Simon Thule Viggers as the new Director of People and Culture. Viggers, who left DHI where he served as Director of Personnel and Senior Vice President of People and Communications, has nearly 20 years of experience in the human resources industry worldwide.
Before joining DHI a year ago, Viggers was Vice President of Human Resources and Communications, Change Management, and Executive Leadership for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies Europe. From London, he held this post for two years and ten months.
After studying human resources strategy at the London Business School and strategy execution at the Harvard Business School, he spent the longest period of his career at Novo Nordisk, the Danish pharmaceutical multinational. He joined the company in 2001 for more than four years as an HR Business Partner, before taking on the role of Corporate Training Manager. In 2007 he became responsible for the training and development area. A little less than two years later, he was Director – Human Resources and Communications, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Europe. When he left Nordisk in 2017, he was Corporate VP – HR and US CHRO, based in Princeton, New Jersey.
In his new mission at Milestone, Viggers will help strengthen the corporate culture and take the people and culture of the organization to the next level.
