This job search visa allows applicants to stay in the country and look for a job for six months. Only if they manage to find a job within this period will they receive a work permit or German visa, which will allow them to stay and work in the country.

Graduates or postgraduates from a German university or with an equivalent foreign qualification can apply. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in their field and be able to demonstrate financial strength. In other words, they must be able to prove that they can afford a six-month stay and have travel/medical insurance until they get a work permit.

In addition to proof of all qualifications and work experience certificates, candidates must have a passport valid for at least 12 months after planned return, passport photos in line with biometric specifications, a letter stating the purpose of the candidate’s visit. , an individual job search plan, alternative plans if no job is found, detailed resume, address in Germany during the six-month stay, and so on.
