What Employers Should Know About OSHA Safety Regulations

The pandemic ushered in a new era for employers about risk and safety. Today’s businesses face extreme challenges in terms of security measures, employee productivity, and risks, among other things. The parameters include assigning a coordinator to handle any issues that may arise due to COVID-19, running training programs on best safety and hygiene practices, and running cleaning and disinfection programs on a regular basis.

These guidelines allow employers to memorize some of the best practices and tools to ensure a safe work environment.

1. Measure and monitor employee health: Regular temperature checks and self-assessments can help prevent and isolate the spread of the virus.

2. Keep information confidential: All information collected about the health of employees should remain confidential to avoid liability risks in the future.

With new guidelines and increased risks, both employers and employees must be extremely vigilant in adhering to these guidelines.
